Mens Shoes – Trainers to Designer Footwear

So we can safely state that the range of footwear for men is not perhaps as diverse as it is for ladies there is still a huge range of footwear available for men, and every outfit needs the right pair of shoes.

At a recent wedding it was a chance to dress myself up and look sharp (for the bridesmaids!!) and so I chose a dark brown Racing Green suit, something a little different than your usual choice of suit. I also decided against a tie and wore a paisley Paul Smith shirt, the shirt was obviously patterned and I decided that a tie would be too much for the outfit. Finishing the outfit off I knew I had to get the shoe selection right so I went with a pair of tan brogues, and brogues are hot right now. I bought a pair of Racing Green brogues (got a good deal) but my travels across the fashion sites of the internet have found me an amazing pair of brogue boots by Oliver Sweeney. These aren’t the cheapest boots I have ever found but WOW they are amazing, wonderful stitching and you know that Oliver Sweeney footwear is of the best quality and well worth the investment – you’ll be wearing these boots for years.

If you are looking for something a little more casual then you need look no further than the classic trainers. You cannot begin to measure the success of the trainer, they are worn all over the world, there are shops dedicated to them, there are books and blogs dedicated to them and they inspire a devotion amongst collectors that is unrivalled in the fashion world! Some men own a couple of pairs of trainers, others hundreds – me? I limit myself to 6 pairs (including one pair of plimsolls). For day to day wear I will never be without a pair of men’s Converse All Stars – these are absolute bona fide classics of the trainers world, and there is no other pair I can just throw on and stroll out the house and know that I am working it with my footwear! A number of men’s designer brands are now also releasing ranges of trainers (think Voi and Firetrap) so you can also have a smarter pair for evenings and clubbing.

Footwear – What’s on your feet????

Can I simply say what a relief to search out someone who really knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You undoubtedly know the right way to deliver an issue to gentle and make it important. Extra people have to learn this and perceive this facet of the story. I cant believe youre not more fashionable since you definitely have the gift.

  • Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.

  • Hi there. Firstly, you do not need to approve this comment as I am not trying to spam your blog. Actually, I stumbled upon your website from google, and I have an interesting proposition for you. I own and operate a blog about landscaping, and general DIY stuff. I recently made a ‘widget’ to calculate square footage, which I am offering for free to all webmasters who want it! It’s easy to add to your website, and it can be a great way to add fresh content to your blog or website. It can be customized, as it’s open source, and is written using javascript, and has ajax support, so it looks very sexy. Check out the widget and demo (to the right), and the instructions on how to install it. The URL is http://designersdiy.com/Widgets/SquareFootageCalculator/index.php. I urge you to atleast take a look.
